Prophecy Comics, a new entrant in the Comic Book industry is using a unique approach to define the concept of hero and hero adoration. Whether one were to view these comics as Islamic Comic Books or a Christian Comic Book, there is no controversy over its narrative being one that can very easily be defined as a Spiritual Comic Book or at the very least a Religious Comic Book.
The nature of all comic books is generally the same, particularly where superhero comics are concerned. There is a villain and there is a counter force of that villain perceived by many to be the super hero. Prophecy Comics, therefore can still be considered the traditional super hero genre/culture based comic book but where traditional heroes and villains are fictitiously conjured by exceptionally talented individuals through Comic Book creation history, these books use sources many of which would be claimed to be fact by adherents of the Semitic faiths.
The All Powerful and Almighty, Omnipotent One discussed in these comic books is God, the Fashioner and Sustainer of the Universe and beyond whether that dimension is perceptible or not. His servants, as the narrative would illustrate, are the Angels, the Prophets, the Saints and all those valiantly pursuing a path to shun evil and mischief to ensure good and prosperity flourish. The opposing force, the villain in other words, is the Devil and his minions, be they demon kind or from amongst the human species, any on the path of promoting decadence, misery and death. Thus, Religious Comics, Spiritual Comics, Sufi Comics, Islamic Comics and Christian Comics, may very well be applied but we cannot ignore the applicability of Super Hero Comics to this new rendition within the realm of Comic Book culture.
